Schemmies 8:25- 8:35

1. Jeff and Heidi- Any ad-libs these hosts have are poor. Let the professional announcers announce professionally and quit having them "be funny".
2. Desperate Housewives- Nicolette blocks the shortest one, who does not seem happy. They announce the Supporting Drama guys.
3. Zeljko Ivanek wins- I was pulling for Slattery, but this guy's a pro. Hey, the housewives can't pronounce his name. Not even the one who was stage-trained. You know, William H. Macy's wife.
4. Ricky Gervais- should host the show. Frickin' genius.
5. Horvitz wins Best director of a variety or awards show. How come the Emmy director always wins? Because then they can do the "winner-calls-the-shots-as-he-accepts-his-award" bit.
6. The jazz number on the first commercial was in "Rushmore". Look it up.
