The cast of "Across the Universe"2 take a break contemplating what Ms. Taymor meant when she said they were supposed to be "hippies, not actors in a Gap commercial"...
This year's Brit Flick3.
Daniel Day Lewis4 works on his "Henry Fonda In 'My Darling Clementine'" impression.
Clooney5 contemplates how his film will be an also-ran during awards season this year.
1. Blanchett is nominated for 2 Golden Globes: Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture - Drama ("Elizabeth: The Golden Age") and Best Performance by an Actress In A Supporting Role in a Motion Picture ("I'm Not There"). Coming up next, she appears in "The Dark Knight" as the new batmobile.
2. Julie Taymor's "Across The Universe" is nominated for Best Motion Picture - Musical Or Comedy. After seeing the film, I'm still not sure which one it is- musical or comedy.
3. Atonement is nominated for Best Motion Picture - Drama. The only competition it has is "No Country For Old Men" and "There Will Be Blood". All three are adapted from books. I have no predictions and, as I work for a bookstore, no snarky comments. You're all winners to me, d'you hear?
4. ibid.
5.Poor Clooney is in a film that would've been a huge front runner two years ago. And that film was called "Good Night and Good Luck".

Just went over to check your bro's myspace. Don't you think he has carried the diet a little too far?
Umm... obviously you're mistaking his "artistic self-portrait" with an "after" picture of his diet.
That guy's a real wiz at photoshop.
I think it was the glasses that threw me. He does seem to know the in and outs of photoshop. You aren't bad yourself.
"You aren't bad yourself."
I assume you're referring to my own successful diet, in which I surf the net for hours and hours, then play with my son for hour and hours, sleep, then begin the process again.
I'm sure there's a name for it.
