Please read the blurry picture above for more info on the radio show. All's I can say is, if you have the opportunity to see this, and you don't, then...

..well, we really have nothing more to say to each other, do we?

currently watching...

1) Stephen Colbert- This guy is clearly having the time of his life, which ordinarily would be very alientaing to me. But he's so smart and his writers are right on board with that, that this show is awesome to watch. Although, my favorite thing of how he works the word "truth" into every intro, is not happening as regularly anymore, so maybe not as awesome. So says me ("Who?"... exactly).

2) The Comedians of Comedy- Yes, I know three of these comics pretty well, but usually that makes me a bigger critic (because I have accomplished so much, I've earned that, don't you think? Don't answer that). I have loved Patton Oswalt's, Maria Bamford's and Zach's (who's last name I can never remember how to spell) comedy for so long, it's almost a relief to see how many other people love it too. It makes me feel a little, just a little, less removed from hew-mons, as the Ferengi would say. Hey, I quoted Star Trek! Sign me up for the little bus, Mama!

3) La Dolce Vida- The latest dvd version to be released. Following Marcello Mastriani and Bob Hope punchline Anita Ekberg around late fifties/early sixties Rome is a nice way to be recovering from this flu/thing I have. See below.

currently mourning...

1) Pat Morita- Insert sad "wax on wax off" joke here. He tried to overcome a lot of stress from being interred at Manzanar when he was a kid through his stand-up initially, then, eventually through the first Karate Kid movie. Later, this performance became as much of a joke as his wacky "Arnold" character on "Happy Days".

2) Wendy Jo Sperber- From "Bosom Buddies" to almost every Robert Zemeckis movie from the eighties, she was ubiquitous to those of us growing up watching movies and tv at this time. After contracting breast cancer in the early nineties, she went on to combat this illness, and appear sporadically on television ( I remember a cancer-themed episode of "Murphy Brown" with Sperber and other actresses who actually had cancer at the time. I believe Marcia Wallace was one of the other actresses.). She was great in "1941".

currently...

1) The missus and I are recovering from major cold/flu/things. Of course, I'm not doing it as gracefully as I am... a big girl.

2)Future son and my mother are both doing okay. Mom has finally been able to clear the debris off of her land, making it livable. Now if only FEMA would get her that trailer.

Tom Kenny! Ooh Ooh Ooh! He's a hairy guy!

We watch 'Comedians of Comedy' as well, Patton is a prince among...well...princes, I guess. I think the girl should kick more boy ass, tho, I want to see her go *off*!!!

I started taking Zycam this morning for my fresh cold, little sticks with medicine you rub inside your nostrils. You heard me. Gross, yes, but it DOES make the cold shorter. For us big girls.
